Old Navy Haul
I’m back with another Haul! Sorry I haven’t been posting hauls lately. I have been busy shopping, but buying mostly electronics or gifts so I didn’t feel right posting them here. That, and I was lazy. But i’m back now, so forgive me? :D
I bought this Haul last Monday. I had the day off work, so I went shopping with some friends. Recently I have gotten into Groupon, and I bought a $10 off $20 purchase at Old Navy. Combine that with their 50-75% off sale and there are some great deals to be had.

This sweater was on sale for just over $10, so after the groupon discount it was only just over $5.

This top was on sale for just over $3, so after the groupon discount it was only slightly over $1.50.

These slippers were on sale for $6, so only $3 after the groupon discount.

And lastly I got this nail polish. It was $2, so only $1 after the groupon discount.
So with taxes and everything my total was just under $12!
I was surprised at how nice this nail polish is. I only bought it so that I would be spending over $10 and could use the groupon, but i’m glad that I did. I have also been wearing my new slippers almost nonstop. I love them because they fit like a sock but have a soft cushion on the bottom like slippers. I haven’t worn my top yet because it’s winter. I would have rocked my sweater, but when I put it on I realized that they forgot to take the security tag off of it so I will have to go back to the store. T.T
Shopping Alone
Last night I thought I had plans to go out with a friend, but it fell through. To me, this is really no big deal. Why? Because I can go out alone! I have a car, two legs, cash to spend…so I just went out on my own!
Woah…you can do that? Hahaha yes, yes I can!
Got boba at The Street. Alone. It was crowded so I didn’t stay or check in on 4square though. Boba is still delicious even without friends.
What to do now? It’s 7:30pm. Go to the mall? Sure! The best thing about shopping by yourself is that you don’t have to worry about how long you are taking. You can look at whatever you want and go in only the stores you want to shop at. You can spend as much time as you want in the dressing rooms. It’s so relaxing! Here, i’ll show you:
Arrived at the mall: 8pm
Shopped at Macy’s, found 2 tank tops and 2 pairs of workout shorts for $1.99 each. Spent $8 in gift card money.
8:30pm: Shopped at Hollister, Charlotte Russe, and Papaya. Found potential, but not enough to warrant a purchase. Will come back later.
9pm: Mall is closing, go to Target! Find cute crop cardigan I have been keeping my eye on in my size for $4! Troll Target until 9:45pm then check out and go home.
See? What a perfect night! Shopped at some of my favorite stores, and spent less than $10 in cash if you include boba, and maybe $12 in cash if you include gas. (I have a small sedan)
Things I learned: Everyone is nicer to you when you are out by yourself. You are also nicer to everyone because you are sharing the same world. You are not distracted by your friends so you see everything. Does that make sense? Random people just talk more to you, and you talk back, and it’s not creepy or weird. You can be alone without feeling lonely.
